Renovated Cabin with Panoramic Views

Families desiring peace and quiet… and to unplug from social media and electronic entertainment LOVE this tounge-and-groove log cabin. Kids and dogs are free to roam the 8 acres where deer gather in the shady spots around the cabin.

We have a two-night minimum but recommend at least three nights so your mind calms down enough to really hear the quiet and wildlife. This cabin was selected as a DarkSkies.Vacations cabin because of its stunning view - clouds, pine forests, rolling plains and wildlife - with Sangre de Cristos as the eye-popping backdrop.  Even the most active outdoor enthusiasts have a hard time leaving the deck and its million-dollar view. The deck wins out by late afternoon as brilliant sunsets slowly yield to bright stars. Seeing the Milky Way over the Sangre de Cristos may be a religious experience that your family will not forget.

Your family or group can spread out in this two story cabin. Upstairs is a  master bedroom with a queen, and a great play/sleeping room with two trundle beds (4 singles) plus two futons, just in case.  The full bathroom has an amazing view of the southern Sangre de Cristos. The main floor has a bedroom with a queen bed and a ¾ bath.  The kitchen is very well equipped and provisioned. The kitchen flows into a great room for dining and lounging. This open space is surrounded in glass affording expansive views of the mountains.

No outdoor fires, except for grills.

Kids and elderly need to be able to navigate two flights of stairs to the deck/main level.
